In July 2017 Oregon became the first state to provide a retirement savings program for workers that aren’t already covered by an employer sponsored program. Currently, only businesses with over 100 employees are required to enroll. As of May 15, 2018 employers with 50-99 employees will be required. Employers collect the funds from employees through payroll deductions. No contribution is required by employers. The program roll-out is gradual until 2020 when all Oregon employers will be required to enroll. You can find more information, or enroll, at their easy to use website https://www.oregonsaves.com/
